During my recent business trip to Lijiang, I had the pleasure of staying at Eden Court, a charming guesthouse located in the heart of Dayan Old Town, just a stone's throw from the vibrant cobblestone streets and traditional Naxi houses. The combination of cozy rooms with stunning mountain views, and thoughtful amenities like a hot tub, made for a relaxing stay. Each morning began with a good buffet breakfast, fuel that was essential for my discussions around marine conservation in the region. I was fortunate to be accompanied by colleagues who shared my passion for sustainability, allowing us to unwind by the electronic fireplace after a day filled with insights and ideas. What stood out most was the warm hospitality of our host, who ensured we were well taken care of throughout our visit—offering excellent dining recommendations and keeping in touch to check on our well-being. I left Eden Court feeling not only refreshed but also enriched by the connections made during our stay. For travelers wanting to explore Lijiang responsibly, I highly recommend this lovely accommodation.
