During my recent business trip to Lijiang, I had the pleasure of staying at Eden Court, a charming guesthouse located in the heart of Dayan Old Town, just a stone's throw from the vibrant cobblestone streets and traditional Naxi houses. The combination of cozy rooms with stunning mountain views, and thoughtful amenities like a hot tub, made for a relaxing stay. Each morning began with a good buffet breakfast, fuel that was essential for my discussions around marine conservation in the region. I was fortunate to be accompanied by colleagues who shared my passion for sustainability, allowing us to unwind by the electronic fireplace after a day filled with insights and ideas. What stood out most was the warm hospitality of our host, who ensured we were well taken care of throughout our visit-offering excellent dining recommendations and keeping in touch to check on our well-being. I left Eden Court feeling not only refreshed but also enriched by the connections made during our stay. For travelers wanting to explore Lijiang responsibly, I highly recommend this lovely accommodation.
